About Me:

My husband and I became Christians a few months before our marriage in 1979. That wonderful event changed the course of my life and laid the foundation for everything I have encountered since. We have been blessed with four daughters, and have now entered the exciting stage of grand parenting.  We began home schooling in 1995 and Teenworks played a vital role in our home education program.

I attended Lansing Community College to study child development and earned my Child Development Associate credential. I find great joy in creating developmentally appropriate lessons for the young child and share in their excitement of discovery.  Currently, I tutor the Kindergarten class and Girl’s Shop, a high school course for girls, which focuses on godly living and practical life skills.  I am also the Day Manager for the Kidworks program.

I thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to teach and work with homeschooling families.  Whether teaching young students or teenagers, my greatest desire is to instruct in a way that inspires them to connect the lesson with God, the Creator of all.
