About Me

I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, and a wonderful husband. I knew God wanted me to home school when my oldest was still in diapers. That gave me plenty of time to research curriculum and meet other home school moms.  I was raised in a Christian home my whole life and thank God and my parents for that. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 5 years old at Vacation Bible School. I always knew that if I had a problem I could take it to God and He would take care of it. It wasn’t until I was a little older that I understood that not everyone did that. It was then that I decided to try to bring others to Jesus too.  Now that I am a parent I want to create that same stable, caring, godly environment that I had in my childhood, for my own children.

I received my General Associates Degree from Lansing Community College. There I also studied Theater, Performing Arts, Dance, and Voice. I also received a diploma from The Institute of Children’s Literature.  I have written several children’s books and plays. I now attend Bright Hope Bible Church where I teach Vacation Bible School, junior church, and direct the Christmas plays. I love teaching, but more importantly I love being in the will of God. I have had a really great first year at Kidworks and am looking forward to the second.
