Course Description:
One of the many things that God has blessed us with is money. We have a responsibility to be good stewards of that money, and that is what the students in this class will learn to be. We will explore Biblical principles about how to handle money, and students will learn to use mathematical tools to handle the money they have, and the money they will later earn. Students will learn to apply their mathematical knowledge in real-life situations. Specifically, the course will cover budgeting, saving, investing, giving, planning for major purchases, planning for college, and planning for retirement.

Objectives:
The goal of this course is to provide students with the tools that they will need to be a good steward with the money God gives them. By learning to create spending and saving plans, the students will see that they can control their money and not be controlled by it. This will allow them to be generous and use their money for Kingdom purposes. There are many mathematical tools that can be employed to reach this goal, and the students will learn what they are and how to use them. This class will teach students how to make Biblical decisions about money, which will benefit all students whether they are headed to college or not.
