Course Description:

This class develops practical skills in boys which will be used throughout their lifetime as good stewards of God. The class will accomplish this through monthly themes, including emergency preparedness, bicycle safety and maintenance, basic automotive maintenance, tool use, and more. Each class will begin with prayer and physical activity using the President’s Challenge Program. The majority of the class will be spent on projects focused on the monthly theme. Class will end with a secret message envelope to take home to Dad. These weekly envelopes will give the boys a secret mission to complete during the week and for Dad to sign when accomplished. The missions are mainly conduct based, such as offering to help Mom without being asked, practicing gentlemanly courtesies, and helping the family. Grading is based on class participation.
