Jr. Teenworks Description

Junior Teenworks, Grades 7-9

The goal of Junior Teenworks is to assist parents in home schooling their students in grades 7-9.  By offering challenging academics taught from a Biblical perspective, each student has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually.  Junior Teenworks offers a wide variety of core and elective classes including English, Math, History, Science, Drama, Speech, Computer, Art, Photography, Music, and Foreign Language.

Junior Teenworks classes meet on Wednesdays.  Classes are open from 8:30-4:45, and each class meets for one and one half hours.  Students have the option of enrolling in as many classes as they wish.  While our classes are geared to students in grades 7-9, it is possible for older students to enroll in one of our classes if this is in the best academic interest of the student.

Students also have the opportunity to attend study hall and buy lunch if desired. Many events are available for Junior Teenworks students depending on their grade level and in which classes they may be enrolled in.  These events include speech tournaments, drama productions, annual English field trip, music recitals, science projects, true blue days, ACT seminar, Student Statesmanship Institute, SAT testing, Winterfest, and more. Please see the Events section of our website for more information.
